I have a panasonic tx-21S1tc which is having bright white (almost) horizontal lines every an inch or so. I think they are raster lines but not sure.

Any suggestion?

check for D/J on LOPTX and check values of R316 andR380

what you may have is a supply missing-check the supply to the tube base.....is the picture very bright with flyback and cant be turned down?

Monitor your 200v or so line, could just be a cap.

Dry joint on earth pin L.O.P.T.X is the problem most times or A1 set too high.

I have the same problem with an identical unit. I checked everything. And the brightness control have no effect (I cannot control the brightness from the remote). The grd on the LOPTX is OK. Any suggestions?
